You are renting an original work of art made by a living person. Please read these — they are short, and they are the whole agreement.

• This is a rental, not a purchaseThe work remains the property of the artist and of HUNG at all times. No ownership passes to you, and the work may not be sold, sublet, photographed for commercial use, or offered as security.
• Accidental damage — $250 excessHUNG carries all-risks insurance on the work while it is with you. Accidental damage is covered subject to a $250 excess per incident. Tell us within 48 hours and do not attempt any cleaning or repair yourself.
• Deliberate damage, alteration and loss are not coveredDeliberate damage, alteration, attempted restoration, loss, and theft resulting from negligence are charged at the insured value of this work — $4,800. This is the artist’s valuation, not a resale price.
• Care and environmentThe work stays at the delivery address, indoors, out of direct sunlight and away from damp, radiators, fireplaces and kitchens. You will not re-hang, move between rooms, or lend the work without telling us first.
