02What we collect, and why

We collect only what we need to get an artwork onto your wall and keep it insured.

• —Name, email address and phone number — to confirm your order, arrange installation and reach you if something changes.
• —Delivery address and access notes — so our handlers can find you, and so we know where each work is at any time. Insurance requires this.
• —Payment details — handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number; we keep the last four digits and the card type so you can recognise it.
• —Order and swap history — to run your membership and meet our obligations to the artists.
• —Email address, if you subscribe for new-work announcements. Nothing else is required for that.
• —Usage analytics via Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and records pages viewed, approximate location and device type. We use it in aggregate, to see which works people look at.

03What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not build profiles for ad targeting.

We do not give artists your name or address. They are told which of their works are out on rental, not who has them.

04Who we share it with

Only where it is needed to deliver the service, and only what is needed.

• —Our delivery and installation partners — your name, address, phone number and access notes.
• —Our payment processor — the details needed to take payment.
• —Our insurer — details of a work and an incident, if you make a claim.
• —Our email provider, to send you order and scheduling emails.
• —Google, as our analytics provider.
• —Newsletter sign-ups are forwarded to the operator of this site so they can respond.

05How long we keep it

Order and insurance records are kept for seven years after your last rental ends, because tax and insurance rules require it.

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Analytics are kept in aggregate and cannot be traced back to you.

06Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@gethung.art and we will respond within 30 days.

Deletion requests are honoured except where we are legally required to keep records — an active rental, or a claim in progress.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, or to complain to a data protection authority.

07Cookies

A session cookie keeps your cart and checkout working.

Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure site usage. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser.

We do not run advertising cookies and we do not sell audiences to advertisers.

08Changes

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect.
